Confraternity of Christian Mothers

A Confraternity is a group of Catholic lay people organized under Church Authority for the purpose of practicing some work of Christian charity or piety. A special supernatural bond exists between the people of the Confraternity on earth and the Saints in Heaven.

The goal of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers is to help members grow in holiness, to unite members in prayer, to support mothers in educating their children in the faith and drawing families closer to Christ. Membership is open to all adult women: married or single, with or without children.

The early settlers of St. Peter Catholic Church in Tilden formed a Women’s Society in 1861. Our Confraternity of Christian Mothers was established on August 25, 1915.

Are you looking to grow in holiness? You are cordially invited to join St. Peter Confraternity of Christian Mothers on our new Spiritual journey.
