St. Peter Parish Family Organization

St. Peter Parish Family organization welcomes the entire family and encourages them to participate in all parish activities. 

Every adult member of St. Peter parish belongs to one of nine circles. Every circle is named for a saint and is chaired by two of its members. Circle chairs rotate every year. The primary responsibilities of circle chairs are dissemination of information and organizing volunteers.

St. Peter Parish Family provides parish support in a variety of ways:

• spiritual support to the parish through prayer and acts of traditional catholicism like the recitation of the rosary at funerals and providing Mass intentions for living and deceased members.

• financial support to the parish by hosting fundraisers like Shin-Dig, chicken and pork steak dinners, and Taste of Tilden.

• custodial support to St. Peter Parish by cleaning the church, school and other buildings on the grounds.

The officers work hard to bring the parish members together to accomplish their support goals. There are four officer positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary. Officers serve for two years: year one as an apprentice and year two as in a leadership role. Volunteering to serve as an officer is a very rewarding experience. Officers are immersed in the life of the parish and contribute immensely.

Overall, the organization takes great pride in our work and our parish. We are proud of the parish and the community that surrounds it.
